Description
The Redekop KAS-8 pre-cleaner is a centrifugal engine-air pre-cleaner made by Redekop Manufacturing of Saskatoon, SK. It mounts directly on the machine intake pipe ahead of the air filter: incoming air spins an internal rotor, forcing dust, dirt, chaff and moisture outward through debris ports while clean air continues to the filter. Sized for engines in the 380-713 HP range (850-1700 CFM), it keeps filters working longer with fewer cleanouts.
