Air Guard seed brakes slow seed down in the air lines of your air seeder before it reaches the opener. By exhausting excess air through the brake, seed drops into the furrow in a controlled manner instead of bouncing out — giving you more even emergence and less seed damage, since seed never strikes a baffle inside the unit.
Which Air Guard seed brake do you need?
- 7330 – for small seeds, fits 1-1/4" OD hose
- 7340 – for large & small seeds, fits 1-1/2" OD hose
- 7350 – full exhaust for large seeds, 1-1/4" OD hose, stainless steel
We also carry the 7400 Air Guard wind meter for checking air velocity at the opener, plus Air Guard Sabre clamps in stainless steel (8000–8025) for securing seeder hoses.
