Technical data
- 7/16 in. (11 mm) carriage bolt that tapers to 10 mm to fit the QD nut
- Grade 8.8
- Fits the Flexxifinger QD Nut Assembly — all three Flexxifinger carriage bolts fit the QD nut

- Official specifications: Flexxifinger Carriage Bolt Options
Installation
- Remove the guard nut and bolt, then insert this carriage bolt from the bottom of the header
- Place washers of the appropriate size and number onto the protruding bolt, then thread the QD nut onto the bolt
- Tighten QD nuts to 60 ft-lb (81 Nm) once installed; QD nuts can remain on the header even when the crop lifters are not being used

Tips & tricks
- Choose by guard bolt type: poly skid plate step bolt = 32310; plain 7/16 in. carriage bolt from under the header (no skid plate) = 32312; 10 mm guard bolt from under the header = 32314
- If a carriage bolt is needed but not on hand, the instructions show a washer stack on the hex bolt to mimic one — but the bolt head may catch plant material and rocks under the header and wear smooth over time, making it difficult to remove
- Every lifter must free-float about 1/4 in. (6 mm) to 1/2 in. (13 mm) up, down and side-to-side — never install a bolt or set screw in the hole at the top of the lifter rail to force a snug fit on the guard
