Technical data
- Shoe size per the Flexxifinger dealer binder shoe chart: 1 in. x 5.5 in. (26 mm x 140 mm)
- Fits FlexxiFloat 200/250 lifters 73200, 73250, 74200 and 74250 — the lifter is sold without a shoe, so the shoe is ordered separately
- Mounts on the lifter arm tenon and is secured with the included roll pin
- Part of the 6-shoe FlexxiFloat shoe family: 20231.1 Tip, 20232.1 Wide Tip, 20233.1 Short, 20234.1 Long, 20235.2 2-hole and 20236.1
Installation
- Slide the shoe onto the tenon (projection) at the tip of the lifter arm until the holes in the shoe and tenon line up
- Insert the roll pin into the hole of the shoe and, using a hammer, pound it in until the end of the roll pin is flush on both sides of the shoe
- Set the lifting angle with the adjustment screw and jam nut: maximum 22 degrees from the ground, with the back half of the shoe contacting the ground and the tip of the shoe about 1/2 in. (13 mm) to 3/4 in. (19 mm) above the ground — a smaller angle is better for lifting the plant
- Do not turn the adjustment screw in too far: it reduces the lifter's ability to follow the ground and increases the chance of damaging the lifter and/or header
- Note on the lifter tail: the tail is included with the lifter but left uninstalled, so the lifter can be used with or without it — the tail can provide additional lift in lighter crop situations but is not recommended when harvesting heavy crops, as heavy crop may push the tail down, pivoting the tip upward so it rides over downed crop instead of lifting it

Tips & tricks
- Shoe choice by condition: choose the Wide Tip shoe for better floatation in light sandy soil; with adjustment it can also perform well in cereals and peas — avoid it for lentils or beans
- The FlexxiFloat spring pivot lets the lifter follow ground fluctuations, making it ideal for uneven ground conditions
- Shoes are wear parts: replace a worn shoe and fit a new roll pin (part 20610) rather than running a loose or worn shoe
- FlexxiFloat lifters are all steel and will not bend — use extreme caution when travelling over irrigation ruts, sprayer and tractor ruts, large cracks in the ground and other uneven ground conditions
