- What it is: MacDon Knife Splice/Repair Kit — a splice kit to repair a broken knife, giving a quick repair for broken sickles with a durable connection, the same connection used for splicing segmented knives together.
- Contents: 2 splice bars + installation hardware (per the FD75 catalogue; the guide also notes "simply cut out damaged section and splice in repair section with the included hardware").
- Fitment: All D/FD series EXCLUDING FD2; Case IH 2142 / 2152 / 2162; New Holland 82C / 83C / 86C; John Deere 400D Series.
- Pairing: Used to join knife segments in segmented knife assemblies; general section/head hardware is ordered separately. NOT compatible with FD2/D2 (use MCD286493 for ClearCut instead).
