Description
Turbo II pre-cleaners by Maradyne are the original patented centrifugal engine air pre-cleaners, trusted for over 40 years on farm, construction, mining and trucking equipment. Mounted on the intake ahead of the air filter, a Turbo II spins dust, dirt, chaff, rain and snow out of the incoming air and ejects it through discharge ports — so only clean air reaches the filter. The result: longer filter life, less downtime, lower fuel waste and better engine protection.
Four models cover 100–1,100 CFM: Model 24 (3–4″, 100–250 CFM), Model 35 (4.5″, 250–350 CFM), Model 46 (4.5–7″, 350–700 CFM), and Model 68 (6–8″, 700–1,100 CFM). Choose the model that matches your engine’s intake airflow.
Key Features
- Self-powered and self-cleaning — the air-powered rotor ejects contaminants through discharge ports, with no external power source or servicing needed
- Top-down airflow: incoming air is drawn through a protective screen at the top, spun by centrifugal vanes, and only clean air continues to the engine air filter
- Removes dust, dirt, chaff, rain and snow before they reach the filter, extending air filter life and cutting downtime
- Protects against micro-abrasive particles down to about 1 micron
- High-strength metal body with corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish and a heavy-duty stainless steel band clamp
- Clamps onto the intake in minutes — no tools or complicated installation
- Independently tested to SAE J726 and ISO 5011 standards
