FLEX32256 QD NUT

• QD Nut — the quick-detach nut used to attach Flexxifinger crop lifters to virtually any header
• Patented QD technology: lifters install and remove in minutes without removing the guard bolt each time — the QD nut stays on the header and the lifter slides off it
• Sold individually; the complete assembly with 55 mm hex bolt and washers is part 32256-50
• All Flexxifinger crop lifters use the patented QD attaching and detaching technology

Technical data

• Threads onto the M10 hex head bolt supplied with every lifter, or onto any of the optional Flexxifinger carriage bolts (32310, 32312, 32314)
• Tighten QD nuts to 60 ft-lb (81 Nm) once installed; once installed, the QD nuts can remain on the header even when the crop lifters are not being used
• Earlier part number 32254 was replaced by 32256 (supplier sheet)

Installation

• Thread the QD nut onto the bolt after the spacing washers are in place, then tighten to 60 ft-lb (81 Nm)
• To remove a lifter, lift the black QD spring high enough to clear the top of the QD nut, then pull the lifter forward — the nut itself stays on the header

Tips & tricks

• Nut-only vs assembly: buy this nut alone when only the nut needs replacing; buy 32256-50 when the bolt and washers are needed too (for example, to mount additional lifters)
• If a lifter will not slide on or off the nut with ease, the washer count is likely wrong — consult the instruction manual for the washer count for the guard
